Petro Ivanovych Terpeliuk (April 15, 1941 – November 12, 2012) was a Ukrainian virtuoso violinist, conductor, composer, and People's Artist of Ukraine. He was a professor at the Department of Folk Instruments and Musical Folklore at the Prykarpattya National University. He graduated in 1969 with a degree in violin. Terpeliuk founded numerous folk instrument orchestras and performed internationally with various folk music orchestras, contributing recordings to Melodiya and creating works for violin and piano.
