Vitaliy Yevhenovych Shyshov was a Ukrainian sculptor born on January 7, 1951, in Pyriatyn. He carved his first sculpture from Carrara marble at the age of thirteen and graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute in 1978. A member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1982, he participated in international exhibitions across various countries. In 1996, he contributed to the reconstruction of the monument to Princess Olga in Kyiv. He died unexpectedly in France while attending an exhibition of Ukrainian art.
