Anton Vladimirov Mitrov, known as Bate Toni, was a Bulgarian swimmer and national youth champion in the 100-meter breaststroke in 1957. He became an accomplished coach and a master of sports, mentoring notable athletes including Tsvetan Golomeev and Nikolay Petrov. He was recognized as the Trainer of the Century in Pazardzhik Province. On October 26, 2006, Mitrov was honored as an Honorary Citizen of Velинград for his contributions to swimming. He passed away on October 25, 2010.
