Momir Tošić is a Serbian politician and intellectual born in Žljebovi on April 18, 1954. He served as a member of the first multi-party Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1990 to 1992, as well as in the first convocation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska. He was the first chairman of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina and held various political and social roles, receiving significant state awards for his contributions.
