Kopmagembet Elemesov (born February 8, 1938) is a prominent Kazakh agricultural scientist, holding a Ph.D. in agricultural sciences (1988) and becoming a professor in 1989. He is an academician of the Kazakhstan Academy of Sciences (1996) and recognized as a Honored Worker of Kazakhstan (1996). With extensive experience in livestock breeding, he has contributed significantly to improving the quality and processing technology of Karakul sheep. Elemesov is an author of 120 scientific works, including 8 monographs, and has received various awards for his contributions.
