Kim Hyung-kyung, born Kim Jeong-sook on January 22, 1960, is a South Korean novelist. She was born in Gangneung, Gangwon Province. After graduating from Gangneung Girls' Middle and High School, she attended Kyung Hee University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Korean Language and Literature. She made her literary debut with the piece "I Am a Stone in This Land" in 1983, which won the New Writer Award at Munye Jungang. In 1985, her work "Death Feast" won in the Literature Ideology magazine.
