He studied music history at the Music Academy in Ljubljana and graduated from the theoretical-teaching department at the Faculty of Music in Skopje. He was a long-time chief music editor at Radio Skopje and contributed various articles, comments, and critiques for radio programs and periodical publications until his death on August 4, 1981, in Ohrid.
