Siarhei Siarhieievich Ataeu (May 18, 1916 – December 28, 2006) was a Belarusian Soviet scientist in the field of construction. He held a Doctorate of Technical Sciences and was a professor starting in 1963. Ataeu was honored as a Distinguished Builder of the BSSR in 1962 and a Distinguished Worker of Science and Technology of the BSSR in 1980. He was an academician of the Belarusian Engineering Academy, the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences, and the Academy of Construction of Ukraine, and was recognized as an Outstanding Engineer of the 20th century.
