Mikhail Lvovich Libman (b. April 13, 1957) is a Soviet and Israeli composer and pianist. He is a member of the Union of Composers of Russia and the Union of Composers of Israel. Libman's works have been recognized with the Prime Minister of Israel's award in 2006. He studied at the Petrozavodsk Musical College and the Moscow State Conservatory. Since 1991, he has lived in Israel, working in the tradition of 'extended techniques' for conventional instruments, and has developed multiphonic techniques for string instruments.
