ग.रा.कामत (12 March 1923 – 6 October 2015) was a Marathi writer and Hindi-Marathi screenplay writer known for his influential screenplays. He was a disciple of Marathi author, critic, and historian N. R. Phatak. Kamat served as an editor for the Marathi magazines Mauj and Satyakatha and is recognized as the originator of the term 'Navsahitya' (New Literature). His works in literature and cinema have left a significant impact on Marathi culture.
