Olena Kostiuk (January 29, 1957 – February 7, 2012) was a Ukrainian endocrinologist and neurophysiologist. She obtained her medical degree from Kyiv Medical Institute in 1980 and later became a Doctor of Medical Sciences in 1999. Kostiuk worked at the Institute of Endocrinology and Metabolism of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, where she focused on diabetic complications and intracellular calcium regulation in nerve cells, particularly concerning diabetic neuropathy and Alzheimer's disease.
