Ալեքսանդր Նիկոլայի Մխիթարյան (1912-1974) was a Soviet aviation general who served during World War II. He graduated from the Stalingrad Military Aviation School in 1935 and trained as an air instructor until 1941. He actively participated in the war starting July 1941 and rose to leadership positions, commanding night bomber squadrons. After the war, he held various roles, including commanding an air unit and working in the Soviet Ministry of Defense. He was recognized with the Order of the Red Banner for his contributions.
