Petro Panasovych Khropko (March 15, 1928 – January 8, 2003) was a Ukrainian philologist and educator. He held a doctorate in philological sciences and was a professor at the National Pedagogical University named after M. Dragomanov. Khropko was an academician at the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine and a Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine. He authored textbooks on Ukrainian literature for secondary schools and pedagogical universities, contributing significantly to education in Ukraine.
