Алексей Константинович Федоров was a Soviet military leader, holding the rank of Lieutenant General since 1980. He was the Chief of Staff of the Kiev Military District. Fedorov also served as a Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian SSR during its 10th and 11th convocations and was a member of the Presidium of the Verkhovna Rada of the Ukrainian SSR during the 11th convocation. He was born on May 9, 1933, in the village of Nadezhdino, Saratov Oblast, and passed away on April 24, 1998.
