Boris Nikolayevich Goshchitsky (February 2, 1931 – July 10, 2019) was a Soviet and Russian physicist known for his contributions to radiation physics and neutron studies. He graduated from the Ural Polytechnic Institute in 1955 and went on to work in various prestigious research institutions. He was a full member of the Russian Academy of Sciences and won multiple awards for his groundbreaking research, particularly in high-temperature superconductivity. Goshchitsky authored numerous scientific papers and supervised several doctoral dissertations.
