Vilen Petrovich Postnov (April 8, 1936 – 2012) was a distinguished architect of the Russian Federation and an honorary builder of Moscow. He worked at Kuzbassgrazhdanproekt in Novokuznetsk from 1960 to 1964 and then served as the chief architect at the Giprogror institute in Moscow from 1965. He developed master plans for cities including Novokuznetsk, Novosibirsk, Bratsk, Kostroma, Tbilisi, Almaty, and Taganrog. He was also an academician of the RAASN and led several city planning commissions in Russia.
