Fedosiy Krivenko (1920-1981) was a Soviet officer and tank commander who participated in World War II and is a Hero of the Soviet Union (1944). He distinguished himself in late March 1944 as the commander of a tank in the 45th Guards Tank Brigade during the river crossings at Dniester and Prut. On March 27, 1944, he was the first to cross the Dniester River near Ustechko, and the following day he crossed the Prut River, helping to secure the city of Storozhinets and contributing to the capture of Chernivtsi.
