Dmitry Nikolaevich Shushkanov (1923–2002) was a Soviet and Russian sculptor and decorative applied artist. He became an academician of the Academy of Arts of the USSR in 1988, having been a corresponding member since 1978. He was a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR from 1960. Throughout his career, he was awarded the State Prize of the Russian Federation in literature and art in 1995 and was honored with the titles of Honored Artist of the RSFSR in 1971 and People's Artist of the RSFSR in 1981.
