Rafael Ángel Alfaro-Pineda, born on February 14, 1961, in San Salvador, is a Salvadoran diplomat. He is the son of Luisa Elena Pineda-Moreno and Manuel Enrique Alfaro Alfaralvarado. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1985 and held various diplomatic roles, including Ambassador to Israel, Venezuela, Ecuador, and Canada. He also served as Deputy Foreign Minister and Deputy Minister of Transport in El Salvador. He has been recognized with the Order of Brilliant Star by the government of Taipei.
