Rani Kumudini Devi (1911-2009) was an influential Indian politician and social worker, notably serving as the first female Mayor of Hyderabad from 1963 to 1964. A member of the Indian National Congress, she represented Wanaparthy in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly between 1962 and 1972. Devi was instrumental in founding the Sivananda Rehabilitation Home for leprosy patients and played a key role in the civic response to the 1962 floods in Hyderabad. She remained active in philanthropy and public service until her nineties.
