Rantarō Mine is a Japanese actor and talent born on May 12, 1948, in Kurobe City, Toyama Prefecture. He entered the entertainment industry at the age of 16 and became an apprentice to the actor Okawa Hashizō. After seven years of serving as an assistant, he joined Toei, where he made his acting debut. Mine was affiliated with the Toei Kenkai and served as an executive but is currently an OB (retired member). He continues to work actively in various fields and is known by the nickname 'Rantan'.
