Richard Austin Kraft (3 June 1936 - 17 January 2001) was an American-born South African Anglican Bishop. After being educated at Ripon College and the General Theological Seminary, he was ordained in 1961. He served as an assistant priest and later became the Rector of multiple parishes. Kraft was appointed Director of Christian Education in Zululand and was involved in pioneering self-supporting clergy training. In 1982, he became Bishop of Pretoria and was known for opposing the apartheid regime. He passed away in Pretoria in 2001.
