Rita Koch, born Henriette Koch on February 16, 1931, in Vienna, is an Austrian interpreter and translator. After her family fled to Italy to escape the Anschluss, she attended a Jewish school and eventually emigrated to Palestine. She studied various subjects and later returned to Vienna, becoming a conference interpreter for the Austrian government. Koch has also worked as a journalist, artistic consultant, and has been actively involved in the Jewish community in Vienna. She was honored with the Golden Merit Badge of Vienna in 2002.
