She was renowned for creating ski clothing brands including Torstai, Super A, and Club A, and founded Torstai Oy, which operated in Kemijärvi from 1974 to 1990. Kellokumpu graduated from the Taideteollinen oppilaitos in 1960 and worked with various brands. She received several accolades, including the State Prize for Applied Arts in 1986 and was named Fashion Designer of the Year in 1989.
