Robert Lee Brock was an American businessman, known for founding ShowBiz Pizza Place and his role as chairman of the Brock Hotel Corporation. A graduate of the University of Kansas, he initiated 'Inn Operations' which was sold to Holiday Inns. He pioneered the Residence Inn brand with Jack DeBoer, which was later bought by Marriott. Brock's ventures included transforming Pizza Time Theatre into ShowBiz Pizza Place, which later became part of CEC Entertainment. He was influential in the hospitality and entertainment industries until his death in 1998.
