Robin Dey (March 18, 1922 – July 22, 1980) was a renowned thriller novelist and actor from Assam, India. He is best known by the pen name Rangman, under which he wrote the popular series of novels 'Daku Bhaskar'. This series, consisting of 61 novels, particularly gained immense popularity during the 1970s and 1980s among readers. The debut novel of the series was titled 'Daku Bhaskaror Abirvhab'. His first mystery novel under the pen name Rangman was 'Kuwolir Aare Aare'.
