Rona Miriel Stevenson (1911-1988) was a New Zealand politician from the National Party, who served as the MP for Taupo from 1963 to 1972. Born in Wellington, she was active in the Women's Division of Federated Farmers, the YWCA, and the Presbyterian Church. Stevenson's political career included a narrow victory in the 1966 election and she was later recognized with an MBE for community service. She was known for controversial statements regarding women in rape cases. She passed away on September 4, 1988, with her ashes buried in Taupo Public Cemetery.
