Ronald Leonard Podrow, also known as Peace Pilgrim II, was an American pacifist and peace activist born on May 16, 1926. Inspired by the original Peace Pilgrim, who dedicated her life to walking for peace, Podrow renounced material possessions in 1989 and embarked on a journey promoting peace. He walked for peace until offered shelter and practiced fasting until given food. Podrow’s dedication reflected his commitment to pacifism, following in the footsteps of his predecessor until his death on December 19, 2004.
