She competed in the FIS World Cup for several years and achieved her best career result with a 5th place in a slalom race at Abetone in 1968. Her talent in skiing seems to run in the family, as both her daughter Sonia Viérin and granddaughter Sophie Mathiou have also made their mark as world-class alpine skiers.
