Saburō Mori (January 25, 1911 - August 27, 1993) was a Japanese children's author and editor from Kariya, Aichi Prefecture. He was the younger brother of book scholar Senzo Mori. Mori was active as a writer for the children's magazine 'Akai Tori' alongside contemporaries like Nankichi Niimi and Joji Tsubota. His early works were influenced by the fairy tales and literature he read as a child, and he became known for contributing numerous stories under various pseudonyms.
