A prolific author, he received the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1998 for his book 'Tukaram Darshan.' More is recognized for enriching the cultural heritage associated with Sant Tukaram through various literary endeavors, including plays and extensive research on historical figures like Gandhi and Lokamanya. He was elected president of ABMSS in 2014.
