Saffouh Shaghaleh (March 3, 1956 - December 13, 2022) was a prominent Syrian lyricist born in Aleppo, where he also passed away. He is considered one of the leading poets in Syrian music, having written lyrics in various Syrian dialects and other Arabic dialects. His works were performed by many famous Arab singers, including Najwa Karam, George Wassouf, Assi El Helani, Wael Kfoury, Aliaa, Elissa, among others.
