He co-wrote episodes for iconic series such as I Love Lucy and The Love Boat. Jacobs received an Emmy Award nomination in 1978 for his exceptional writing on The George Burns One-Man Show. He passed away on April 8, 2008, at the age of 96 due to cardiac arrest.
