Shirley Winters is a convicted murderer and arsonist from upstate New York, born on February 27, 1958. In 1980, she murdered her five-month-old son and in 2007, she drowned her 23-month-old child. Winters is a suspected serial killer, having allegedly killed three siblings during her childhood and set a fire in 1979 that resulted in the deaths of two of her older children. She was also involved in the killing of three children belonging to a friend shortly before the fire. A plea bargain prevents her prosecution for some of these crimes.
