Shu Kei, also known as Kenneth Ip, is a prominent Hong Kong film director and screenwriter who became notable in the 1980s and 1990s. He is highly recognized for his 1990 documentary 'Sunless Days', which delves into the Tiananmen Square massacre and its impact on Hong Kong prior to the 1997 handover to China. A graduate from The University of Hong Kong, Shu Kei also served as the dean of film and television at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts from 2005 to 2016.
