Siegmund Nörr was a German jurist born on March 8, 1901, in Nuremberg and passed away on June 7, 1976. After completing his doctorate, he began working in the Bavarian Ministry of Justice in 1931. Following the 'Verreichlichung' of the German judiciary in 1934, he moved to the Reich Ministry of Justice, where he was promoted to Ministerialrat in 1939. He served as a land court director in Munich after World War II and was a judge at the Federal Court of Justice from 1954 to 1969. Nörr was honored with the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 1969.
