On his deathbed, he claimed to have owned a revolver related to Palme's murder and suggested that Christer Pettersson had knowledge about it. However, police were skeptical of his statements. Cedergren was born on February 24, 1931, in Bollnäs and died on March 5, 1996, in Stockholm.
