She is known for her miraculous healing from Parkinson's disease, which was deemed incurable. Her healing was crucial in the beatification of Pope John Paul II on May 1, 2011. Diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2001, her condition worsened until an unexpectedly complete recovery occurred two months after the Pope's death, leading to recognition of the event as a miracle by Pope Benedict XVI in January 2011.
