Colonel Sonaram Choudhary is an Indian politician affiliated with the Indian National Congress and later the BJP. Born in 1940/41, he initially represented the Barmer constituency in the Lok Sabha, winning elections in 1996, 1998, and 1999, but lost in 2004. He switched to the BJP before the 2014 elections, where he won again. A prominent figure in Jat politics, he is recognized as a strong leader across Rajasthan, especially in Marwar.
