William "Spike" O'Dell is an American former radio host known for his work at WGN Radio in Chicago. Born on May 21, 1953, in East Moline, Illinois, O'Dell joined WGN in 1987 and became the host of the morning show from 5 to 9 a.m. after Bob Collins passed away. His show was the highest rated in the Chicago market during that time. O'Dell ended his 21-year tenure at WGN on December 12, 2008, with a final broadcast from the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre in Arlington Heights, part of the Hometown Voices Tour.
