Stelian Țurlea is a Romanian writer and journalist, born on January 6, 1946. He graduated from the University of Bucharest in 1968 and 1976. Țurlea worked for nearly three decades as an editor for foreign policy at the magazine 'Lumea', and after 1989, he led various publications and worked in television. He has authored 18 novels, 10 non-fiction books, 9 children's books, and made 2 translations. Since 1990, he has been a member of the Romanian Writers' Union.
