Stephen Kiesle is a former American priest known for being a sexual offender. He was convicted of child molestation in 1978 and sentenced to three years probation. In 1987, he was laicized. Kiesle was charged again in 2002 for child abuse and sentenced to six years in prison in 2004. In 2005, eight of his victims received compensation from the Diocese of Oakland, and additional lawsuits were filed against him in 2010 and 2020.
