Steve Thompson is a former American football defensive tackle born on February 12, 1945. He played at Lake Stevens High School and later for the University of Washington. He was selected in the second round of the 1968 NFL/AFL Draft, spending five seasons with the New York Jets. His career also included time with the Portland Storm and B.C. Lions. Beyond football, he served as a senior pastor at Victory Foursquare Church in Marysville, Washington, from 1991 to 2015 and earned a doctoral degree in Transformational Leadership in 2020.
