Stevens T. Norvell Jr. was a Canadian activist, collector, and curator of Biblioteko Ludovika, the largest Esperanto library in North America. Born on February 11, 1923, he pursued a career as a surgeon and became a professor at Dalhousie University. A dedicated Esperantist, he contributed to medical terminology works in Esperanto and served as a vice-president of the International Scientific Association Esperanto. He was awarded honorary membership by the Canadian Esperanto Association in 2002 for his contributions to the Esperanto community.
