Suren Khachaturov Azizyan (May 9, 1922 – February 1, 1996) was an Armenian painter born in Yerevan, Armenian SSR. He was a participant in the Eastern Front of World War II, known in the Soviet Union as the Great Patriotic War, which lasted from 1941 to 1945. Azizyan's father was Khachatour Azizyan, also an artist. His contributions to art and his experiences during the war have marked his legacy as an influential figure in Armenian culture.
