Susumu Nakayama was a Japanese serial killer born on January 13, 1948. He committed two murders in 1998: the estranged husband of his girlfriend and the husband's girlfriend. Nakayama had previously been convicted of murder in 1969 and was on parole at the time of these crimes. He was sentenced to death for the 1998 murders but died in prison on May 15, 2014, before the sentence could be executed.
