Svitlana Mychko is a Ukrainian journalist, editor, publicist, and poet born on January 20, 1961, in Kharkiv. Daughter of writer Boris Demkiv, she graduated from Lviv University with a degree in journalism in 1984. Mychko has held various roles in media since 1978, including correspondent, editor, and journalist for several newspapers and magazines. She is a member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine and received the title of Honored Journalist in 2013 for her significant contributions to journalism in Ukraine.
