Sybil Flory (1920–2017) was a Burmese-born pharmacist, seamstress, and teacher. Raised in a Roman Catholic family, she lost her mother at birth and faced separation from her sister during the Japanese attack in 1941. She fled with a friend’s family and married Reid Flory in 1943, later moving to Scotland. Flory was active in her community, becoming President of the Townswomen's Guild and remained devoted to her faith. After decades, she reunited with her sister in 2007, with their story featured in the book 'Torn Apart.'
