Terje Hals was a Norwegian jurist and police chief known for his long service in various police roles. Born on February 7, 1937, he graduated with a law degree in 1962. Hals served as police superintendent and inspector in Uttrøndelag and was chief of police in Troms from 1976 to 1986, and in Moss from 1986 until 2001. He passed away on December 19, 2010.
