Terje Roel is a Norwegian former athlete with disabilities, born on May 25, 1960, in Skien. He competed in athletics and cross-country skiing in wheelchair classes T53 and LW10. Roel has held various organizational positions, including roles in Norges Idrettsforbund and the Norwegian Athletics Federation. He was responsible for the Paralympics section of Trondheim's bid for the 2018 Winter Olympics, and he served as head coach for Norway's disabled athletics team. Since 2004, he has been on the board of Sør-Trøndelag Idrettskrets, becoming chairman in June 2011.
